Does Trainerize integrate with Google Sheets?
Yes, through Zapier workflows or a manual CSV import. The documents checked on 19 October 2026 describe these routes, not a native two-way Google Sheets sync.
Trainerize natively exports a client contact list as CSV. It can also save workouts as PDFs. Its export guide says the CSV does not include programmes, workout history or progress statistics. Import the contact CSV into Sheets for a one-off transfer.
For automation, Trainerize documents custom workflows through Zapier. Zapier's Google Sheets directory includes creating a spreadsheet row when a new Trainerize client is added. Each workflow needs its own trigger, action and field mapping. This is not a full historical sync. All three sources checked 19 October 2026.

Trainerize Google Sheets integration: choose a workflow
Use the CSV route for an existing contact list. Use Zapier for supported events going forward. Check account permissions and plan limits before choosing either route.
Export your client list
Trainerize's CSV export instructions, checked 9 October 2026, describe exporting client contact details from the web app. Access depends on the account owner's permissions.
- Open Clients in the web app and select the required clients.
- Use Export to save the CSV.
- Open a private Google Sheet and choose File → Import → Upload.
- Check names, email addresses, phone numbers and assigned trainers. Keep phone numbers as text to preserve leading zeroes.
Use restricted access. Export only the information needed for the task.
Set up a Zap: trigger → action → fields
The ABC Trainerize and Google Sheets directory and Trainerize custom Zap guide were checked 9 October 2026. Available fields can vary by trigger and plan; confirm them in your test run.
- Create a private sheet with the columns below. Use a dummy client first.
- Connect the correct Trainerize account to Zapier and select the New Client trigger.
- Add Google Sheets → Create Spreadsheet Row as the action.
- Select the spreadsheet and worksheet, then map the returned fields.
- Run a test. Check one row appears and that dates, names and identifiers are correct.
- Enable the Zap only after you have checked permissions, plan entitlement and expected task volume. Review failed runs regularly.

This is an example mapping, not a promise that every trigger returns every column. If the test payload lacks an identifier or timestamp, remove that column or add a separate logging step.
What you cannot assume will sync
- A contact CSV does not contain programmes, workout history or progress statistics.
- A Zapier event is not a complete historical export.
- Changing a spreadsheet cell does not automatically edit the original Trainerize record.
- Replaying a Zap can create duplicate rows unless you design a lookup/update step.
- Google Sheets sharing permissions do not follow Trainerize roles automatically.

Check Trainerize pricing and Zapier pricing for the features, task limits and billing period you need. A connection listed in the directory does not mean every workflow is free.
